The Annual Presentation Dinner is to be held on Thursday, 21^st May in the Premier Suite, Blackburn Rovers FC, Ewood Park at 6.45 for 7.15 p.m.

Access to the Premier Suite is via the Jack Walker Reception entrance and guests can use Car Park H.

The Speaker booked is Ronnie Whelan (ex Liverpool FC and Republic of Ireland). Ronnie’s career in midfield for Liverpool saw him make 443 appearances, scoring 73 goals and he emulated his father, Ronnie senior, by representing the Republic of Ireland, for whom he won 53 caps. He left Anfield in 1994 to manage Southend, followed by a spell in charge of Greek club Panionios and then Olympiakos Nicosia of Cyprus

Dress is informal (i.e. collar and tie), and the price of the ticket has again been held at £22.

Following the success of last year’s Dinner we are anticipating a good attendance, and look forward to the support of as many Club members and Vice-Presidents as possible at this function.

Applications for tickets, together with the appropriate remittance, should reach Dinner Secretary Geoff Blakeley no later than Wednesday, 6th May 2009. After this date, allocation of tickets will be made, and late applications can only be dealt with to the extent of vacancies available.

We look forward to an enjoyable night, with ample time after the official proceedings to enjoy the usual reunions.
